How To Make Infused Water: 2 Amazing Fruit Infused Water Recipes

We all know that drinking water is important, but a lot of us struggle with getting water in. For most people water is boring, tasteless, and just dreadful to drink. I was definitely no exception. For the longest time, I was someone who hated water and I would pass it up almost every time.

Not too long ago, though, I learned that if I flavored my water with fruit it was so much easier to drink. It’s a simple change, but it makes a world of a difference. These days I’m able to drink a half gallon of water almost every day and actually like it!

For all you water haters out there I have something that I know you’ll love. I’m going to share two of my favorite fruit infused water combinations: strawberry lemon and mango lime. These waters are so easy to make and they taste delicious!

Ingredients You Need To Make Mango-Lime Infused Water:

1/3 cup of mango

2 tablespoons of fresh lime juice

How To Make Mango-Lime Infused Water:

Step 1:

In a food processor add mango and lime juice.

Step 2:

Blend the mango and lime juice together until a smooth puree forms.

Step 3:

Add puree mixture to 32 ounces of water. Shake or stir to combine.

Step 4:

Enjoy right away or let your water sit in the refrigerator for a few hours for optimal flavor!

Can I use frozen mango?

You can use fresh or frozen mango. I actually prefer to use frozen mango because I pretty much always have it on hand. If you decide to use frozen mango, be sure to let it defrost first.

1/2 cup of strawberries

2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice

How To Make Strawberry-Lemon Infused Water:

Step 1:

In a food processor add your strawberries and lemon juice.

Step 2:

Blend the strawberries and lemon juice together until a smooth puree forms.

Step 3:

Add your strawberry mixture to 32 ounces of water. Shake or stir to combine.

Step 4:

You can enjoy this infused water right away or you can let it sit in the refrigerator for a few hours for optimal flavor.

Can I use frozen strawberries?

You can absolutely use frozen strawberries. Before pureeing be sure that your strawberries are fully defrosted.
