Happy New Year!
I hope you had a good Christmas and New Year’s day! It’s actually crazy to believe that the holiday season is over so fast. I’ll admit, I’m not ready to take down my Christmas tree so I’ll probably leave it up for an embarrassingly long time. Am I the only one that does that?
Anyway… I wanted to write another What I Eat In A Day post, because ya’ll seemed to really like the last one. When I decided that I was going to write this post, I planned on photographing my food on a day where I would be at home all day. I like to photograph my food on days where I am going to be home, most of the day, so I can give ideas for meals that you can make at home.
My plans changed and I almost switched the day, but then I realized that the reality of the situation is there are rarely days when most of us are at home all day. That’s the beauty of eating intuitively though. As intuitive eaters, we aren’t on anyone’s meal plan and no one is telling us what to eat. We can adapt, change and make any situation work, without being stressed or overwhelmed about what we will eat. With that in mind, I decided to just roll with the change of schedule and still photograph my day of eating. Here’s what I ate!
What I Eat In A Day As An Intuitive Eater #3
Pre Coffee Water:
As usual, when I woke up I drank close to 30 ounces of water with lemon.
I had a cup of coffee with agave, homemade creamer, and almond milk. I was running pretty low on creamer so I used what was left and topped it off with unsweetened vanilla almond milk. Nothing beats homemade creamer, but the almond milk helped to get the job done.
I had to get out of the house pretty fast this morning, so I pulled out a homemade oatmeal bar from the freezer, warmed it, and topped it with peanut butter. The bar had oats, almond flour, almond butter, maple syrup, walnuts, chocolate chips, vanilla, and a little bit of almond milk.
I had lunch with my husband on this day. We went to a local brunch place and I decided to get a breakfast meal. I had a crab cake benedict, grits, and a few of Patrick’s potatoes (not pictured).
I was still out when I got hungry again so I decided to have an RXBar. I tend to keep some type of snack in my purse and this day it happened to be an RXBar. It was the chocolate and sea salt flavor which is one of my favorite flavors.

For dinner, I made stir fry noodles and veggies tossed in teriyaki sauce. I used frozen mixed veggies. I also had some leftover breaded chicken. I ended up adding a little more teriyaki sauce to the side for dipping my chicken.
There’s everything that I ate on this day. I’m glad that you decided to check out this post. I hope this post gave you some good meal ideas and intuitive eating inspiration!
Talk to you next week!
